Contact

One address, read by a person.

There is no contact form here: a form needs a server to receive it, and this site does not have one. So it is plain email.

Write to info@livespeedtracker.com. Expect a reply within a few days — this is not a staffed support desk, but every message is read.

Something is broken

Tell us your browser, your device and what you were doing. A GPS bug that shows on one phone often will not reproduce on another, so those three lines save days.

The speed looks wrong

Read the accuracy guide first — most reports turn out to be a car speedometer reading high by design. If it still looks wrong, send the accuracy radius and source shown on screen.

A feature idea

Anything that keeps the site free, serverless and protective of your location is worth hearing. Anything requiring an account or a backend is not going to happen.

Before you write

Two questions arrive more than all the others put together, and both already have answers:

  • “Why is this slower than my car’s speedometer?” Because your car’s is required by regulation to never read low, so it reads high on purpose — the full explanation is here.
  • “How accurate is it really?” Around 1 km/h in open sky, worse in tunnels and cities, and the page shows you which case you are in — detail here.

What we cannot help with

  • Recovering lost trips. They live only in your browser and we never hold a copy — see the privacy policy. Nothing can be restored from our side because there is no our side.
  • Speeding tickets. This is not an evidential instrument and readings from it should not be used to contest one, as the terms set out.
  • Deleting your data. We never receive any, so there is nothing to request the deletion of. Clearing your browser data removes everything the site has stored.

Or just go and use the thing.
